Why did Judas need to be replaced ? What’s so special about having 12 disciples?

This has to do with the 12 tribes of Israel. Man thinks he is irreplaceable. This is never the case for even Jesus Christ himself said that if the children of God refuse to praise God, He will raise up rocks to do just that. Let this lesson be for you. That the chain will not be broken nor the flow interrupted. God’s Will will be carried out regardless of the will of man.
