Confidence in Humility

To be humble is to know who you are. It is not to think less or more of yourself, but to realise that you are a small, but significant part of existence. It is to know that you are neither everything, nor nothing. You are part of a great thing and you are meaningful. You have your effect on this world, but that effect is as a result of your cooperation with the universe and not your singular genius. You understand that your significance does not make you the most or the least important. You are not the superlative of anything, but you are what makes up infinity.

You are aware of your duality- significant and insignificant at the same time.

Humility is the state of knowing who you are and being grateful for it- not apologetic, not in disbelief, not proud. Humility is a way of being yourself and being very comfortable with that self. In humility, you are so comfortable that you have nothing to prove and you need no approval. This is where the confidence comes in.

Confidence comes from knowing who you are. When you do not know who you are, other people will mislead you as to your person. You can never be confident about something you are not.

Confidence is a steadiness of self.

To be steady, you must know who you are.

Love,

Your Friends Within.
